It is a high performance resin required for demanding applications. This polymer is Biobased, processed from castor oil. Rilsan® Clear G850 Rnew® is a transparent polyamide with high thermal resistance, which facilitates the adaptation and assembly of lenses (it can be heated up to 40º C), as well as excellent chemical resistance and resistance to stress cracking.
These resins are ideal for optical solutions with high performance properties that provide transparency, clarity, light weight, flexibility, comfort and durability. Pebax® offers the widest range of performance (mechanical, chemical, processing) among thermoplastic elastomers (TPE). It provides the best compromise of characteristics: the most versatile process, the lightest weight, the widest range of flexibility and exceptional physical and chemical resistance properties.
SLASTIK covers are produced with recycled plastic bottles.
